deducting money from your credi card at any time.

I rented a car from Avis in December 2018. In January 2019 the deducted money from my credit card twice the same amount this is without contacting me. I call and they said that I had received two fines with the rental car. In April 2019 I rented another car from them in Cape Town I paid them and everything was fine. Now in September 2019 They deducted again from my credit card without contacting me. This is now 5 months after I had used and paid for their services. When I contacted them they told me that I had received another fine with the rental car. My point is they have my contact details why is it that they do not contact me before they take money from my card. So they can just take money from your card at anytime without contacting the customer even if it is months after you had settled your bill with them. Its not right. In this day and age they cannot just take money from your card when ever it suits them. I am very unhappy about this. They are suppose to contact me and tell me that I have received a fine and that they are going to deduct this amount from my credit card. I have no written 2 emails to their customer care department to complain and still have not received a response from them.
