I was at Avis on Saturday, 28/09/2019, to rent a car to get from Potchefstroom to Lanseria airport. I rented a car online and picked it up that Saturday. Everything going smoothly... I got at their office and Leon had me sign the form for the car telling me that I will pay up to R10 000.00 for any hubcap damages and up to R16700.00 for any accident related damages. I accepted and took the car and drove, because I needed to catch a flight to CPT.

Half and hour later, on my way to Lanseria, I received and sms stating that R2700.00 has been taken from my account from Avis. I was absolutely shocked and terrified and immediately called Leon. When on the phone with him he casually told me that it’s a holding amount cause I hired the car, but never said anything of the sort when I was there to sign the papers. He told me that when I drop the car the funds will be released again.

Today is Wednesday (02/10/2019) and still the money isn’t reflecting in my account. I gave him a call earlier today and being the cheating and insensitive thing that he is he casually tells me that it will now take up to a week before I get my money back. It’s because of people and ***** like this that the world is what it is today.

Because of people and representatives like Leon, from Avis Potchefstroom I will always have a negative mindset and outlook towards companies like this and will never ever make use of your ****ty service again. He stole my money from right underneath me. The ***ard and ****bag that he is!!! Looking me right in the eye and speaking to me, knowing in his mind thy R2700 will be taken from my account and not make me aware and still I’m waiting for my money, long after the car has be delivered in the exact same condition it was given to me.

I will make it my life’s work to inform as many people as I can about this ******* and cheating. I will never recommend Avis to anybody, only tell them of the terrible experience and theft that I experienced first hand.

By this weekend I will go to the newspapers and tell my story about Leon, from Avis potchefstroom.
