Day light ******* for tiny stone chip.
I returned a car with a tiny stone chip on the Windscreen. Avis directly billed my account the damages of R2734,78 on 25/07/2022. I was then billed excess of R3861.36 on 30/07/2022. I don't understand why I must be billed excess when I already paid for damages. The stone chip was absolutely tiny yet I was billed an excessive amount for damages of over R2000 when it could have been filled without the need for Windscreen replacement., and still be billed excess ??? This is day light ******* !

31 Jul 2022, 02:56I should not even be charged for the tiny stone chi as it is within fair wear and tear . I want a full refund of my deposit , the R2734,78 and excess of R3861.36. This is *******! I also did not authorize any amounts to be taken from my bank account!!. I want to contact the ombudsman regarding this issue . Send me the relevant details!!!

If there is damage found on the car, the cost to repair the damage is charged to you within your liability amount.
Because the windscreen tyre waiver was not opted for, the cost to repair the windscreen was billed to you.
We will request our team to send the damage documents.
