Courtesy Vehicle

I was involved in a car accident in November 2016 and my Insurance arranged a courtesy vehicle with Avis Car Hire. I collected the car from a very friendly lady from the Aiport Office or Depot. When I had to return the vehicle, I was received by a very friendly Car Inspector. The Car Inspector performed his inspections while I was removing my items from the vehicle and I would say that he took his time as I was in no rush. He completed the inspection and told me that all is fine and that I could leave. Approximately 20 or 30 minutes later, I recieved a call from Avis Car Rental office saying that there was a dent on the car. I advised the gentlemen who called me that it was impossible as the inpsection was done and nothing irregular was found on the car. The gentlemen said he would email me pictures of the dent and also a form that I needed to complete. The form was never sent but I had to return to fetch my wallet that I had forgotten underneath the drivers seat. The Car Inspector took me to the vehicle and he had to search for the dent around the car which was almost invisible. I completed the form that I was asked to complete stating that there were no irregularities when I dropped the vehicle off and that I dispute that I was responsible for the dent. I called 2 days later to enquire about the deposit I paid and was told that it has been blocked until I spoke to a manager Timothy Adams. I spoke to the manager on Monday who said he would investigate and revert back to me. Monday lapsed and I called him again on Tuesday to follow up and he told me that he is still busy with the investigation and that as soon he is done he would call me back. I am being inconvenienced now and basically held ransom with my deposit that is due to me.
