Charged EXTRA Insurance I did not want!!

<p>I rented a vehicle from AVIS Menlyn on the 02/05/2017 and only opted for the standard insurance that they provide. I made it very clear that I DID NOT WANT the extra cover that brought down my liability down from R15500.00 to R4000.00, namely the Collision, Theft Loss and Windscreen waivers.</p> <p>When I received my invoice, the amount they charged me almost doubled from R1200.00 to R2000.00 due to this error. I immediatly contacted them to make the issue known. I spoke to Zinto on the 05/05/2017, whereafter he confirmed that it was an error and they will get back to me within 3 business days . I also sent him an email with the copy of my signed Rental Agreement.</p> <p>On the 11/05/2017 I still have not heard anything from them, so I called again. This time I spoke to Gaolebale. I forwarded her the email I sent to Zinto, as well as sent her the copy of my rental agreement. She assured me that this matter will be escalated and that She will get back to me as soon as possible.</p> <p>It has been almost a month since I made the query, and just proves my rating of AVIS. I will never make use of them again, and will make sure that I tell everybody to rather use another rental agency.</p>
