Car deposit not paid back

I got a courtesy car from my insurance via Avis and paid R2250 deposit and had a tyre puncture. They have now penalised me for changing the tyre and patching it claiming tyre damages. Nowhere in their terms and conditions does it say tyre damages includes a puncture. Apparently I was supposed to call them and have them come change the tyre for me which by the way they charge a “call out fee” or go back to them and have them check the tyre themselves😱 how do u include a spare wheel in the car if I can’t change it myself? Does a kwid tyre cost my entire deposit??? Horrible experience, even the car they gave me is just as horrible as their service!
