Breach of contract

After my accident my insurer asked me to pick up a car from Avis car rentals in Durban. I reached there with a taxi as i had no car. When i got to the counter the lady tells me that that the deposit hast to be paid upfront of R1350. So i pull out my wallet happy with that only to be turned down as the compant does not accept cards. So i stanfd there with no car. THis in the middle of town. I had to walk a few blocks in central town the most dangerous areas to find an ATM. Then i have to walk back with that cash praying i do not get ****** all because Avis would not release the car and they o not take cards. Then i returned my car on the 27 of May already and then i ask when will the deposit be returned and they advised in 6 working days the money will be in my account. Now is 8 working days and the money is not im my account. I called up this morningn and spoke to a guy who said that all paymens on that day did not go through. My issue is that they did bother to inform the clients. Secondly when i asked when will i be refunded they say that i need to work another 6 working days. So now im expeced to be patient for my money but you could be patient when i didnt have the cash? they guy promised he will call me back with an answer. Four houls later i call the call center and speak to a lady called Natasha who tells me that they have not breached contract because i signed a document that says 10-12 days. Upset at this i asked her to send me this form. she sends me a form that mentions nothing about how many days it takes. when i bring this to her intention then she says u was right it is 6 days. so she first **** to get Avis out of this breach of contract. Then she put me through to her manager who says he will give me feedback. Now i have to sit and wait for my money, yet avis would not release the car if i didnt pay them on time. Avis please make whatever plans u have to to stop this breach of contract and find an alternative to pay me immediately!
