Bad Service
I rented a Polo Vivo as per the car manual book However AVIS claims it's an Polo TSI, I've rented the car for 7 months as preferred clients with +R11k monthly, I've been experiencing difficulties with avis, how their system works however professional staff managed to retain my loyalty making sure am assisted. Hatfield and Pretoria Branches. Early January I recieved a call from Shawn stating that the car is handed over, He have to recover the funds or Ave to return the car, he then asked Hatfield manager to give me a call to sort out the matter. Funds recovered R5459.00, The following day 23rd January R4259 went off my account again, didn't care that much as I thought they are renewing my contract. On Sunday I recieved a msg stating my account is handed over to legal due to insufficient funds, I called the call centre same time, the gentleman man could not access much of the information due to other departments being closed, advised I should call on Monday for clarity, Monday I did call hold for almost 30mnts transferring my call to resevartions. Same Monday 27th same an email to customer service for assistance, they acknowledge the email and promising they will get back to me, till today no one contacted me or respond to the email. Today recieved miss call from 011 number, returned the call was avis, explained my story again, transferred my call to resevartions, hold for 30 mnts as always.around 11 recieved a call from Brian avis investigation to collect the vehicle, was shocked but I managed to be professional and hand over the car. Bear in mind I never signed the contract for R425,stating rental was for 7days, with the daily rental of R459 to my surprise who gave them the authorisation of deduction those funds and draw up the contract?? I am so disappointed and I won't refer anyone to avis rental...I really need answers who gave them to deduct such funds in my account, 1st deducted R11429.00, R5459 and R4259.00..
