AVIS/Budget Witbank *******.

9 December 2019 at 15:00 I received a courtesy vehicle from AVIS/Budget Witbank, A Hyundai I10. I was assured that he tank was full and I was reminded that the tank must be full when I return the vehicle. 12 December 2019 at 11:30 set off to fill the vehicle up and return it back to AVIS/Budget. I was surprised to see that it took 9 litters to fill costing 142.90 and I only drove the vehicle 41.7 km in the effectively 3 days I had possession of the vehicle. Of course this was impossible. I arrived at AVIS/Budget Witbank to return the car. I made an objection as it was the fuel consumption was impossible for the vehicle. AVIS/Budget Witbank’s reception response and I’m quoting “That is just too bad”. The person doing the inspection checked the odometer and said that “The fuel consumption was a little high for the vehicle. Too bad". 4.63 km per liter, it is too bad on the principal for being a *****.
