Avis worst nightmare

I borrowed a car at avis Vereeniging from the 4th to 14th of December 2019, when I collect the car it was raining n the inspiration was done only outside the car, on the 14th when I returned the car it was just after some rain too and the inspection was done on the outside again, fair, but on the 17th I got an SMS saying there is a boot cover broken, I called the branch so we can arrange as to when should I come to see what I'm blamed of, I was told the car has gone to their head office..... I was so surprised. I then early January went to the branch for clear explanation as what's broken and why wasn't made aware on the spot when I returned the car, no one could tell as to why, the only thing I was given was their head office number to discuss the matter, I then called and spoke to a guy called Thabo who did not even want to address my dissatisfaction but referred me back to the branch..... All I needed was my deposit not to be sent from pillar to post, it cost me money and time to drive around and making calls.
