Avis won't pay my deposit back
<p>its been almost 3 months and I'm STILL struggling to get Avis to pay back my deposit.</p> <p>In May I hired out the car and the deposit was said to be returned into my account between 5 working days, I went to query after the 5days were over- they said it would be deposited back into my account after 10 working days. I went to query after the 10days and they said they had deposited the money I should check with my bank, went to my bank and got bank statement indicating the transaction where Avis took the deposit but nothing showing the return of the deposit.</p> <p> </p> <p>Now I've been going back and forth with Avis since May, even had the manager email me and my bank and the result is STILL that Avis has not paid back the money. The professional conduct is appalling because I received smiles and respect when I was hiring out the car but have been ignored and passed around like I do not matter when it came to Avis not fulfilling their end of the bargain. </p> <p>I want my money back, this is not on.</p> <p> </p> <p>Frustrated Armand</p>
