Avis will not refund your deposit!

The worst service I have received thus far. I rented a car from Avis Budget Car Rental in November 2024 to April 2025. I returned the car on time and reported the minor damage which was deducted from the initial deposit paid upfront. I was informed that I would receive my refund within 21 days and to date (32 days later) I have not received any refund. Avis call center agents and finance department will not assist you with anything, they will take you from pillar to post, claiming that the matter has been escalated and you have to follow up. This is unprofessional and *****ed. Avis is quick in giving you a car and collecting their monthly rental fee however when they have to give you what’s due to you they take their time. 21 days was changed to 3 to 5 working days for refund, but nothing still… I am appalled by their service and would not recommend that anyone actually uses it. Avis should remove the “we care about people more than cars” slogan as it is a lie!
