AVIS - where is customer care?

<p>Rented a car from Avis in Malawi. Returned the vehicle at 1pm, well before the 14h30 cutoff. Then were charged an extra 65$ for late delivery - their computers were down, so vehicle booked back at 16.29pm. We are being penalized because they never had access to their system. Phone calls only result in customer care centre being too busy; 2x emails to customer care not responded to. In addition, charged approx R12 000 for 2 days rental?! </p>
