Avis what a disgrace
Fall from grace, my 75 yr old was forced into a rental @ Avis Amazinmtot by Discovery Insure due to her Toyota Cross being ******. She went to home affairs and the hub caps of the hired vehicle were ******. Over and above the deposit of R 2250 that wasn't returned a further R2633.14 was deducted from here bank account with no notification.
Whilst her customers refused to take their hired cars because the cars where no cleaned.
This business has become a shadow of what it was. What a shame, Insurance companies hire vehicles on behalf of clients but no care or concern for their customer experience with ************ car rental companies

You don't refund clients timeously but quick to charge a 75yr old woman, without any communication, just because you have access to her banking. This flagrant disregard for her rights even left your staff shocked.
Banks need to err on the side of clients. In the US anyone can at anytime reverse charges on your credit card. In south Africa banks are in cahoots with corporates
