avis wants to rewrite the laws of the road

i was driving my vehicle on saturday the 26th september 2015 in johannesburg outside the johannaesburg zoo.After making certain the road was clear i took a U turn on jan smuts avenue when suddenly an avis hired car came straight in my direction from erlswold way.<br> I stopped immediately and expected the avis car to do the same but unfortunately the driver of the avis car was looking behind!<br> The driver drove straight into my vehicle which was at a total standstill at that time.<br> After filling the relevant forms including three quotes and calling the avis claims department at least ten times i was rudely told by Lee Stone that i should not have taken a U turn there but rather go around the entire zoo lake!<br> She rudely told me that even though there are no signs showing that i should not take a U turn i should not have done so! basically trying to bind me to her own personal laws of the road!!<br> I didnt expect a company like avis to stoop so low in running down a third party claimant and justifying their drivers mistake!
