Avis useless service: Do NOT use Avis

On Tuesday 8th of April I phoned Avis to book a trailer for hire, I was told that trailer hire needed authorization and that Avis would contact me once it was authorized. On Wednesday I phoned again to find out what had happened to my booking and was told that my booking was in the system and awaiting authorization. I requested that they contact me urgently. On Thursday I phoned again and was told my booking was not in the system. After expressing my frustration my booking was re-entered into the system and I was told there were no trailers available for the days I wanted. This useless service is very disappointing and I will not be using Avis ever again and recommend that you don't either.
