Avis - Too much power to take what they like from your card hold.

After receiving my vehicle without anyone available at checkout to inspect the car with me (as it was after closing time due to my flight being delayed), I was charged after it was returned and when contacting them told the fee was for repairs to a cracked bumper. Now while I find this impossible to believe, I have been told by others that they face the same experience at Avis King Shaka. Furthermore, I was charged over 20% more than the price quoted by the repairer as I requested the quotations they had received. Having been a loyal member of the Avis preferred club, no longer will I hire from them again.
