Avis stole my deposit

<p>A month ago I rented a Avis car for just over 1 week. When I collected my rental car I paid a deposit of R1350 in cash. I filled in all the forms to ensure they paid the deposit back to me at the end of the contract. </p> <p>I returned the car in perfect condition which they approved. 2 Weeks later I called to follow up on my deposit being returned to me. They have no idea what happened.... </p> <p>I filled in another form with my bank details. Another 2 weeks go by. I call again. They still don't know why Customer service has not paid me back. </p> <p>I called customer service. After being put on hold for what felt like an hour listening to their bad music the line went dead. </p> <p>Please explain to me why it is so easy to take my money and impossible to get it back......</p> <p>AVIS has ****** my money and no one can be bothered to help me in their office....</p>
