Avis *****ing your money

Be aware when renting from Avis. The holding deposit that Avis takes of your credit card will not be returned as promised by them. I rented a vehicle from Avis and on return asked to received the final invoice. They then told me that they would first inspect the vehicle and then it would take 2 days. I asked them to inspect the vehicle immediately in order to speed up the return of the R1600.00 that I was over charged as the rental was only R 1076.50. I was told it will take 2 days. Now a week later I am still told 2 days. If Avis keeps R1600.00 from every client in their account for a week before returning it just imagine the interest they earn on our money. If its a 1000 clients a day for 7 days they are earning interest on R11,200,000.00. I would like some interest back on my money too.
