AVIS *****ing money from my credit card

AVIS **********ly took my money from my account for damages i know nothing about. i was not even informed of such and just saw a transaction go off my account. THe agreement with AVIS is that should there be any damage then an amount of R*** would be required as access not why are they *****ing from my account?
