Avis *****

We collected a car at Cape Town International Airport which the Avis agent said was all good - we ourselves did not do a thorough check of the car for scratches - which would have been quite difficult as cars are so dirty when you collect them. On returning the car the Avis agent went straight to a spot on the front of the car to say it was scratched. We did not damage the car in any way but the money is taken off our account immediately. As we did not check the car properly before leaving we have no leg to stand on and it is their word against ours. So as a previously loyal client all I can do is never hire from Avis again and endeavour to recommend the same to all those looking to rent a car,
