Avis - staff put pens down before the work is done.

We recently booked a flight and car rental combo special through Mango and Avis. The Mango flight was 4 hours late and landed at ~11pm instead of 7pm. We were concerned about the rental car still being available when landing in ORT but were told by the Avis PE branch staff that they cannot close until all booked passengers have landed and taken receipt of their vehicles. When we got there, AVIS had closed for the night and left us and other passengers who booked the same special stranded. No apologies from Avis. Had to look at far more expensive options from competitors who were still open and keen for business. Major setback in time and cost.
