AVIS SHOCKING

<p>AVIS ???</p> <p>As a frequent traveler I made a huge mistake by making use of AVIS.<br />I booked and paid online. On arrival at Cape Town International Airport the AVIS staff told me that they don't accept the debit card which I used for the booking (AND already paid the rental with online...that was accepted) as they only accept credit cards. <br />I enquired about refunding my money and were told that they don't do online refunds.<br />So my question to them was how can they take my money and not give me a refund as I paid for a service I didn't receive/use. They told me that it is stipulated in their T&C's <br />So according to AVIS it is OK to take your money for nothing because of their T&C's.<br />Lucky for me it was only for two days.<br />I will make sure everyone I know hears about this and learn from my unpleasant experience.</p>
