Avis shady business practices

Shady business to say the least!! Went on a business trip to Cape Town on the 1 April and rented a VW Polo from Avis. After returning the vehicle to the depo at the airport 4:21am they emailed me later during the day stating that the backboard of the Polo was broken. Very strange due to the fact that I only had a small laptop carry bag and I never even opened the boot. On the day of the inspection the representative never showed me the inside nor did he check the condition of the interior with me. I strongly objected to the accusation yet still with no feedback they deducted the amount off my account. I will share this information on all social media platforms..... ********* to say the least!!!
