Avis ******** me out of ny refund

I hired a car for 2 days with Avis beginning of October. To date I don't have my refund, I have called them several times, all I get is apologies and empty promises. Last promise was last Wednesday that my money would be returned within 24-48 hours yet till today nothing is on my account.
