Avis **** ******* ***** DONT USE THEM EVER

My experience with Avis is that I will never use them again. On 28 December 22 a car was delivered to my house. A deposit was put on my card. The branch is less than 10ks from my house. The petrol I received vs the petrol I returned was a 100km range difference. I drove the car once.

I went away for 7 days with the car in a locked garage.

I took the car out, less than 5ks away the tyre bust. The person helping me tells me the tyres on the car are not in good condition. I take the car back to avis with full tank. Took a new car.

Took new car back after the contract period with full tank.

Week later deduction of R1k +, was reversed. Then R2k +, was reversed and today, a deduction of R3.4k +..

Even if for the tyre, a polo tyre for R3k?

I believe that the car was full tank when it left the branch. The driver then went whereever sold the new tyres and put the old ones.

The branch sent me a screenshot showing that in addition to the burst tyres, 2 more tyres were replaced on the car. Why would you then change the tyres if they were in good condition when I got them. I did less than 300ks in that car on the n1 nogal.

The way the manager did not even investigate and was so defensive I am 100% he is a part of whatever **** is bring run

I received two different inspection pages and one document saying original report lost. What am I paying for? I asked for the report from the tyre company and nothing. It probably shows the tyres age on a 30ks car..
