Avis *****s money from customers
My Dad rented a car through Avis from 1July until end July, while their car was in for minor repairs at Renew it. My Dad passed the 26th of July and we handed back the rental car a few days early. These people till today has not returned the deposit for that rental car to my mom. Well Avis we have opened up a case of ***** and you will be hearing from layers soon. It's pathetic that you want to ***** R2000 and not return the deposit, we will be sure to take this company down for that R2000. People stay away from avis do not rent a car from them unless you want them to ***** from you!!!

Thank you for writing to us. We are sorry to hear about your loss.
With regards to your enquiry a request was sent through to the bank, in order to confirm and release the outstanding amount. However we was advised that there funds was released back to the available balance. This means the hold expired automatically.
We would suggest that you contact the bank directly to confirm this, however we do understand that the information they will provide to you is limited.
Thank you.
