Avis ****** me off my deposit twice!

Avis is not even worth a star. They are a bunch of ******* that want to enrich themselves through falsely accusing their clients just to cash in our Deposits! I’ve had 2 occasions where Avis accused me of dents that were already noted by their official on the inspection sheet. The first accusation I was informed of it an hour after I returned the vehicle and they said all is in order. But an hour after returning the vehicle I got a call from their manager saying I dented the vehicle! When I rushed to their office to find out what’s going on- they told me they already rented out the vehicle! Imagine they “rented out” the vehicle within 30min of their call. Up to date I haven’t received my deposit - instead they’ve charged me more money for a dent that was already in their car. I have an inspection sheet to show the dent was noted by their official. As if that’s not enough - Avis has again withheld my deposit yet the vehicle has been returned a month ago! In total this nonsense of a company is holding my R3000 and I want it back! It’s painful to see myself being ****** off my money by these bunch of *********. And no I didn’t decide to rent a car from their out of my free will.....my car insurance company uses Avis for courtesy cars.

My fellow South Africans - I advise you to stay away from this rental company. We work hard for our money to watch it being taken away from us by a greedy shady company called Avis
