Avis Pathetic Service

Covid-19 is throwing spotlights on business that are so far behind the curve that at some point their business might become obsolete or will eventually lose so many customers that there doors will be shut.

I went onto Avis Website today to hire a 8 seater vehicle. The website gave me options to pick a pickup point. It listed a few "open Office locations "Sandton on Rivonia Road. I drive there and the offices are closed and have been closed for a few days. Why no proper updates on the website ??? The security at the gate tells me to go to their Witkoppen branch and he gives me an incorrect number. I look up the number myself and dial it - no one answers the phone after about 8 attempts. I drive there and is told that they may only have a vehicle available in 2 hours. How do you run a business in 2020 and cannot get basic services to work in this day and age when the application of Technology is supposed to advance our Services. This demonstrates how far behind the curve this business is. Pathetic!!!
