Avis Optimum Maintenance Pan ripp off - do not buy when you buy a car from Avis

<p>Bought my car in 2014. it was a 2013 polo 1.4i. opted to take the full cover optimum maintence plan that covers all parts fully, except tyres. car is covered by the plan till 2019 or 90000km. currently doing 70000km, and have been to all service intervals. twice car was taken in with an aircon issue, which vw umhlanga confirmed was rectified, however was not. took vehicle to an RMI registered dealer, as per their policy document, vehicle is stripped, fault is found, now they say this dealer is not registered with them (their policy document states 'a rmi approved dealer' and not an avis approved dealer. i am waiting 4 weeks for avis to register this dealers paperwork, so that i can rectifythis fault. as a person that used sa warranty on my previous vehicle, i would suggest that you use sa warranty as they do not make you wait and you can use any rmi dealer. bear in mind the optimum plan is around 15-18k, and sa warranty is cheaper.</p>
