AVIS make money through cancellation fee by not being transparent and misleading customers

Avis is making money through bookings cancelations because they are not transparent with regards to the booking fee and only after paying the rental amount, they start mentioning the holding deposit of not less than R10 000.00 when collecting the car. Why not be transparent say that in order to book a car e.g have R15 000 in your account then we know. Not after paying R1300 rental amount then you come up with the holding fee upon collection and charge us cancelation fees.

This is misleading customers deliberately to charge cancelation fee. I will never and will make sure everyone in my business never ever uses your services ever again

To make it worse, the very fine print indicates that I will have to withhold not more than R3500 but at then upon collection it goes up to R10 000.00.
