Avis Kokstad

I rented a car in January 2021 and had to pay a Deposit of R2600 and sum change. Was informed it will be in my account within 30 days of vehicle return but it never did. Visited the branch and was told to visit my bank. Bank told me Avis authorizes the bank to release the money. Till today I haven't received my money. This is Avis Kokstad. Should I take them to the small claims court?
