AVIS is the worst car rental

I rented a vehicle from Avis and firstly, the vehicle was allegedly given with full tank (now what I always do, whenever I take a car rental, I refill immediately to check if its full or not), to my surprise, I filled up for R280 on what was supposedly a full tank. Be that as it may, drove back at OR Tambo branch, explained the situation & my contract was adjusted to a G4 (half tank), meaning I the vehicle needs to be half when I return it.

The vehicle was returned in June 2021 with the petrol on half as requested, however, when my deposit was paid back, I was charged for a full tank. I called and sent email in an attempt to clear the matter, but after being put on hold for over 30 minutes and hanged up on, having driven to the OR Tambo branch to request that my refund be corrected, and sending countless emails, next month will be June, a year later, I still have not received my refund.

Each time you call in, you are given a new reference number but nothing becomes of it, because when you call in again, you are told that a new reference number has to be logged, pathetic.
