Avis is stripping people off

I am having a mini lease with Avis. My contract says I can return car or terminate the contract with Avis anytime. I was using the car for personal use of which I don't use it anymore due to lockdown in our country. I tried to return the car since I can't afford paying it. Avis Isando refused to take the car saying its not an emergency and they only allow emergency. Now I am stuck with the car that I don't use and I can't afford it.

Why not creating places to only return the car?
