AVIS IS BAD NEWS!

<p>I am DISGUSTED with Avis Car Rental!! This is my story!</p> <p>About 6 weeks ago, on a Friday evening, my son was parked in a parking (on the side of the Road) in Strand Street, Cape Town, about to check his GPS for directions. A "lady" driving up the road, in an Avis car, allegedly under the influence or on her cell phone (this was never checked!!!) drove into my car, parked on the side of the road, plus drove into another two cars, three in total!!</p> <p>Avis came to her assistance, gave her another car, and off she drove, leaving three cars smashed!! Okay, so now, I am insured, yes, but we were not even driving on the road; I am told by my Insurance Company that Avis will not pay, we have to trace "this person", who lives in America and whose details they will not divulge. I have had to pay excess of R5000.00 !! Can somebody from Avis please explain????? I do not understand! This story and this persons name will be divulged on facebook and any form of social media that I can think of should there be no response. I have e-mailed the complaints dept. in Cape Town on at least 3 occasions - not so much as a peep - oh yes, an automated no-reply response. Yay!</p>
