AVIS INSPECTION FLAW KING SHAKA AIRPORT

BE CAREFUL OF AVIS RENT A CAR KING SHAKA AIRPORT :A vehicle was collected at Avis rental car at King Shaka airport Kwa-Zulu Natal .No Avis staff was present to inspect the vehicle and or to give directions on what to do next .Keys were handed out at the help desk only .Obviously short staffed due to Covid restriction .Vehicle was used and returned five days later where Avis claimed that there was a scratch on the door .On closer inspection a scratch was found however it was stated that the damage was not done by me ? Avis said that the vehicle was inspected on collection where it was not and a clear breakdown in their system has been found .After much discussions Avis refuses to take blame for their poor inspection system breakdown and poor customer communication and i was billed R3889- for damage that was not done by me .CAUTION IS ADVISED WHEN USING THIS COMPANY !
