Avis has inconvenienced me and does not care!!!!

On the 25th of July 2019. I was involved in an accident. The vehicle that hit my car from behind was an Avis rental car. 3 weeks after logging the claim and they just don’t care. I am the one who has had to call them regularly to follow up and am still not given any concrete answer.

On Thursday last week I called their 3rd party claims department and spoke to a Tebogo Tshabalala. I advised him that I could not get the quotes they need as the car is stationary and repair shops are asking me for a call out fee. He said he would get authorization from his manager so that they could send an assessor. On Monday 19/08/19 I called again and was advised that my claim was now being handled by a lady named Tsepang who also decided that she would take her own time getting the required authorization. I called her yesterday and she rudely told me that to wait until she calls me today. It is 14:17 and I have just called again, only to be told that the manager is at the airport and I’ll be given a call when he comes back???? Really now. The frustrating thing is that I am a self-employed individual who’s bread literally comes from my being mobile and AVIS simply does not care that I’m inconvenienced by them dragging their feet to get my car fixed. The poor treatment is just disgusting.
