I hired a car from Avis in Cape Town on 6 Jan 2015 to attend the funeral of a family member. Upon returning back to Johannesburg I was surprised to see an amount of R 2,168.74 taken of my card. I have asked Avis a number of times to refund this amount but they have **** to me and stated the amount was refunded. Be warned against using Avis in the future.
