AVIS CORPORATE BULLIES AND ******
I experienced Corporate bullying first hand. I rented a budget vehicle at King Shaka International only to be upgraded to a class b at their expense. However the vehicle I received had a rear flat and was missing a rear indicator bulb. Yes not broken but missing. I managed to switch vehicles at the hotel I was staying namely Cabana Beach resort and the agent there on switching tells me not to mind the dents and scratches as he is aware of it. So I assume all is in order. I hardly even used the vehicle as I only used it to go to the Comrades expo. So I return the vehicle with the agent receiving the vehicle saying all in order enjoy your flight, but on landing at Cape Town International I get an email saying I'm liable for damages ie dents and scratches that were there when I received the vehicle. I emailed them on numerous occasions with not even a reply or acknowledgement. I only received a reply when I sent them a threatening email to expose them on hello Peter and social media. There response was(we received no emails from you). So I reply to hat very same email with the whole story and yet again no response and its been almost 4 weeks. They just deducted almost R 3000 for the damages and that's that. I only saw now that I'm not the first and that there's been many that's had the same experience. I think these companies are busy with ***** knowing that they get away with it. I'm sure they target only the budget renters thinking there will be no fallback. They are ******!!! They don't even deserve the 1 star
