When collecting the rental vehicle, the consultant let me check the car for dents and scratches in a shaded underground parking. It is really hard to notice subtle dents in poor lighting conditions, so I did not notice anything. Upon returning the car the consultant inspected the car under bright light in which any subtle dents are clearly seen. Therefor I am now held liable for dents that i know FOR SURE did not happen while I had the car with me.
