AVIS CHARGING R12500 FOR DEPOSIT

The issue that I have experienced was: I went to get a new booking today and I was advised that the deposit for those not coming out of the airplanes is now R12500. The reason given was that South African locals bring cars back damaged. I found this super offensive, its tantamount to saying South African are ********* are treating person as thus. I have been booking vehicles from Avis not a single day did I return it damaged. To be slapped with such a statement and increase because Avis cannot profile and manage bad clients it so deplorable. I felt like being profiled because of the colour of my skin and my nationality.
