Avis charges client R1128.71 for THEIR flat tyre!

When collecting Avis car on a business trip last Friday 30/9/2915, it became evident on leaving OR Tambo building onto the highway that there was noise from the car - a quick stop in a busy emergency lane revealed a flat tyre! We changed to the spare and proceeded, as driving the car back to the airport was beyond the state of the tyre. We proceeded, now late for our presentations and meetings.<br> <br> When the car was returned the same Friday afternoon, we dutifully pointed out the tyre had been flat. No, it is not possible to see the state of tyres inside the rental building, which is dark, poorly lit with cars parked so close together as to limit proper inspection.<br> <br> Today, Monday 2/11/2015, just after closure of Avis call centre, they SMS'd this unhappy business client to note that \Damage was noted on your rental E***.
