Avis car rental refusing to give me a car

I arrived with a new cheque card that i recieved from the bank 2 weeks ago. At the counter the lade helping me said she needs to verify my card first because of *****. After taking the R 1 deposit from that same card, she told me that my card has been declined by her office. I asked her what was the reason, she told me that she didn't know, but mostly cards are declined because it's not showing that salaries get paid into it???? <br> <br> I told her that i have already paid for the car , and asked her whats going to happen about that. She said she doesn't know.<br> <br>
