AVIS CAR RENTAL NOT REFUNDING DEPOSIT PAID

Due to repairs being done to my vehicle, my insurer, Discovery, provided me with a rental car from AVIS. Upon collecting the vehicle, I've paid a deposit of R2500.00 cash. On 21 August 2023 the vehicle was returned and since them I have been struggling to have my deposit refunded to me. I have addressed several emails to AVIS on 24.08.2023, 28.08.2023, 30.08.2023 and 04.09.2023. They just respond that the process takes takes 3 - 5 days to process the refund. The reservation is ***3ZA0 [Case: pouLbu, ***]. This is unacceptable that 14 working days after returning a vehicle, a cash deposit was still not processed and refunded.
