Avis Car Rental

We have Car rental insurance linked to our short term insurance policy. When we booked our vehicle in for repair we were given an Avis rental vehicle for the duration of the repair. On receiving the vehicle we paid a deposit of R2500 to cover any damages or fuel. We were told by Avis that if we returned the vehicle with a full tank and no damages we would get the deposit back. We did as instructed and on day 10 before we returned the vehicle we filled it up to first click as instructed and left the fuel slip in the Avis booklet as proof. Avis did not repay the full deposit as agreed. They deducted an extra day for rental which was invalid and they charged us more the R700 for fuel for a vehicle that was FULL. Avis has agreed to repay us the extra days charges for rental, but we as still waiting for the refund, and it is 2 months later. I will not recommend Avis.
