Avis car rental

It has been nearly 30 days, and the hold on my credit card has not been released yet. I have tried phoning the call center multiple times with the calls just being dropped or waiting 30min+ for no answer. Avis has been the only company I use for car rental and never had this in the past. Not sure why their service has been so terrible
