Avis Cape Town, misleading!

Good day All,

Just want you to share my experiance with you regarding Avis Cape Town Airport.

So i went in on the 29th June wanting to rent an Fortuner, after standing in an long row off clients, with only 4 Avis workers assisting clients. I got told i need to make the pre booking on the App! Great why can somebody not assist the clients while they standing in the row?

I did my booking but only received the conformation after 1 days, in the meen time they assist me by telling me they dont have any Fortuners group nor the smaller SUV, i then asked to speak to the team leader, the lady assist me with good service and given me an Fortuner.

She reffered me to an counter to get all the paper work done. As the lady explained i got 400km per day, not explaining is 200km a day and for 2 days is 400km, if you are somebody who rents cars every day then i believe you would know its 200km per day.

After returning the car, i saw on my bank that almost R9000 was blocked on my card, the original amount was R3500, so i phoned AVIS asking them how can they just block like they feel without the client knowing off it. She just said that i went over my kilos, only then i realized that it was 200km per dan and in total 400km and not 800km like i was under the impression.

From the 2 July till date 5 July am i struggling to get hold off the the Cape Town branch.

So people if i can make an suggestion, please look at the kilos given, if i knowed this i would much rother went to Thrifty with ****m per day and they wanted to help me the first time.

My rental agreement number is ***
