Avis at Mthatha airport charged me for an extra days car hire, even though I have photographic proof that I returned the vehicle on time and was already in the air on the way back to Johannesburg whwn they allege that I returned the vehicle. Futhermore, they slapped me with a R 1020.00 fuel refill charge even though I have photographic proof that I returned the vehicle when the fuel level was between half and three quarters and it could not have cost more than R500.00 to refill the vehicle. I am NOT impressed.
