Avis bullying tactics

I regularly hire cars from Avis on business trips when the vehicle is given to us there is no one to assist the client to check through I normally take pictures I was traveling alone I had 1 small bag with me on this trip they now claim I broke the clips for the board in the boot This is absurd Do we as Avis clients have to check all of this Now I am gonna be charged for something I did not damage On a previous hire I found nails in the tyres So I totally do not agree that the vehicles are throughly checked and given to the client
