AVIS BUDGET CAR HIRE

Budget / Avis car hire . The worst ever experience I have ever had with a company in my life...

I hired a car from them for around 18 days. First of all their service at the desk in cape town airport is **********. After waiting for almost 30 minutes for my car they give me a car where the usb port doesnt work.

I had met up in an accident with the car and continuously called their desk at the cape town airport office and no one had answered. I called over 10 times and then my phone died. A guy from odendal towing then towed my car and i was then told by budget that they will not pay for the towing as it was not towed by them AND THE AMOUNT WAS R5000. Imagine!!!! What was i supposed to do if they dont answer at the airport office? Why have the landline>-? I was on work and alone in cape town stuck on the n1 in an accident. What was i supposed to do?! They dont answer and this gets worse

Once i had payed for the towing, they brought me a new car and guess what? the guy who brings my new car from avis *****s my watch on my table. My ARMANI WATCH. And when I phone them what they say? I have no proof! Well should I put a video camera on my head to video everyone? He was the only one that entered my flat in an entire week. Like i said I was living alone. So there was no other person that entered my place. But yet they refuse to help.

And this gets worse, so after i return the other car they bill be R8000 for the accident of the first car. And according to my rental agreement i had taken out an insurance which had stated the access cannot be over R4500. So they charged me R3500 more. And when i phone them what they say? No they billed me extra days for the new car!!! WHat!!!! I had payed for a car for 18 days. if i bumped it on the 13th day and they gave me a new one , they cannot charge me for another 5 days for another car. that is ****************...

SO in summary i paid R3000 to hire a car R8000 access for a accident that was only supposed to be R4500 R5000 for a towing service because they dont answer Then they still ***** my watch.

So this costed me almost R20 000 basically

NEVER EVER AGAIN WILL I USE THESE PEOPLE AND I WILL NOT RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE. THEY ARE FIRST OF ALL THE MOST EXPENSIVE AND THEY STILL GIVE THE WORST SERVICE AND THEY ARE *******.
